Job Description
We’re currently hiring Safety Officers for an upcoming industrial shutdown project in Saudi Arabia with MRC. This is an urgent requirement, and we’re looking for candidates who are ready to step in quickly and handle responsibilities in a fast-paced work environment.
If you have experience in shutdown projects, oil & gas, or industrial safety, this could be a great opportunity to gain solid project exposure in the Gulf.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Making sure all safety rules and HSE standards are followed on-site
- Carrying out daily inspections and safety checks
- Identifying risks and taking quick action to prevent issues
- Ensuring workers are using proper PPE and working safely
- Conducting toolbox talks and safety briefings before work begins
- Keeping track of incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions
- Maintaining safety records and reports
- Working closely with site teams to keep the work environment safe
- Supporting emergency situations when required
What We’re Looking For
- Experience as a Safety Officer in shutdown, construction, or oil & gas projects
- Good understanding of safety procedures and HSE standards
- Ability to work in a fast-moving shutdown environment
- Strong attention to detail and good communication skills
- Ready for immediate interview and quick joining
- Safety certifications will be an added advantage
