Full-Time Long-Term Welding Engineer Opportunity for Aramco Project
Job Description
We are currently looking for an experienced and Aramco-approved Welding Engineer to join a major offshore oil & gas project in Ras Al Khari, Saudi Arabia. This is a long-term opportunity with a reputed company involved in high-profile offshore structural and fabrication works.
If you have strong experience in welding engineering, offshore fabrication, QA/QC coordination, and Aramco standards, this role can be a great step forward in your career. Candidates with offshore structure experience, especially in piles and conductors, will be given priority.
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee welding and fabrication activities for offshore oil & gas projects
- Prepare and review WPS, PQR, welding procedures, and technical reports
- Ensure all welding works are carried out according to Aramco standards and project specifications
- Coordinate with QA/QC teams, inspectors, supervisors, and project engineers
- Monitor welding quality, productivity, and safety compliance on-site
- Handle welding-related technical issues and provide engineering solutions
- Maintain proper documentation, inspection records, and progress reports
- Support fabrication activities for offshore structures, piles, and conductors
Candidate Requirements
- Valid Aramco approval as Welding Engineer is mandatory
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Welding Engineering, or related field
- Experience in offshore oil & gas projects is preferred
- Good knowledge of AWS, ASME, API, and Aramco standards
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced project environment
