Job Description
We’re looking for a Civil Engineer who enjoys being out on-site, solving real problems, and seeing projects take shape from the ground up. If you have solid experience in GCC infrastructure projects—especially in storm water drainage, sewer networks, and road works—this could be a great next step in your career.
About the Role
This role is all about being hands-on. You’ll be involved in day-to-day site activities, making sure everything runs as planned, meets required standards, and stays on schedule. You’ll work closely with teams on-site, as well as consultants and contractors, to keep projects moving forward smoothly.
What You’ll Be Doing
On-Site Execution & Supervision
- Oversee infrastructure works including storm water drainage, sewer systems, and road construction
- Make sure all work is carried out as per approved drawings and specifications
- Keep track of daily site activities and ensure deadlines are met
Technical Coordination
- Go through drawings, BOQs, and project documents with attention to detail
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and consultants
- Step in to solve technical issues quickly and effectively
Quality & Safety Focus
- Ensure all work meets required quality standards and project specifications
- Follow and enforce safety procedures and site regulations
- Carry out site inspections and maintain proper records
Planning & Progress Tracking
- Support planning of work schedules and resource allocation
- Prepare regular progress updates and reports
- Monitor productivity and help keep the project on track
Team & Communication
- Work closely with different teams to ensure smooth coordination
- Attend site meetings and provide clear updates
- Build strong working relationships with everyone involved in the project
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- At least 3 years of GCC experience in infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of storm water systems, sewer networks, and road works
- Good understanding of construction practices, safety standards, and site execution
- Comfortable working with drawings, reports, and site documentation
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to take responsibility and manage site tasks confidently
