Full-Time Construction Safety Engineer Vacancy in Qatar
Job Description
We are currently seeking a qualified and proactive Senior Safety Engineer to join its dynamic team.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with strong experience in health, safety, and environmental management within construction, infrastructure, or industrial projects. Main Responsibilities:
- Monitor and enforce health, safety, and environmental standards on-site
- Conduct routine safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments
- Ensure compliance with Qatar labour laws and international HSE standards
- Investigate incidents and prepare detailed reports with corrective actions
- Organize safety inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness sessions
- Review safety documents, method statements, and permit systems
- Coordinate with contractors and project teams to improve workplace safety
- Ensure proper use of PPE and safe working practices at all times
- Maintain accurate HSE records, reports, and documentation
- Support emergency preparedness and safety improvement initiatives
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field
- Previous experience as a Safety Engineer in construction or infrastructure projects
- NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent certifications are preferred
- Strong knowledge of HSE procedures and safety regulations
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- GCC or Qatar project experience will be an added advantage
- Candidates who can join immediately are preferred
