Job Description
We are currently looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our client’s team in Saudi Arabia.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with large datasets, business intelligence tools, and reporting systems that support key business decisions. The ideal candidate will have 4–5 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, dashboard development, and performance monitoring, along with a strong ability to communicate findings in a clear and meaningful way.
As a Data Analyst, you will play an important role in helping the organization understand trends, improve operational performance, identify business opportunities, and make data-driven decisions. You will collaborate with multiple departments and provide valuable insights that contribute to the company’s overall success.
About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for collecting, organizing, and analyzing data from various business functions. Your work will help management teams better understand performance metrics, monitor key business indicators, and identify areas for improvement.
You will create reports and dashboards, interpret complex information, and provide actionable recommendations that support strategic and operational goals. The successful candidate should be comfortable working with large amounts of data while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, organize, and analyse data from multiple sources to support business operations and decision-making.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability through regular validation and quality checks.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and performance tracking tools using Power BI, Tableau, or similar business intelligence platforms.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular updates to management.
- Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities that can improve business performance and efficiency.
- Design and optimize SQL queries to extract and analyse relevant business data.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for stakeholders and senior management.
- Work closely with Finance, Sales, Operations, Human Resources, and other departments to understand reporting requirements.
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support business initiatives and special projects.
- Assist in automating reporting processes and improving data management practices.
- Collaborate with IT and data teams to enhance reporting systems and data quality.
- Support forecasting, planning, and performance evaluation activities across the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- 4–5 years of proven experience in Data Analysis, Business Intelligence, Reporting, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of data management principles and reporting methodologies.
- Experience working with large datasets and transforming data into meaningful business insights.
Technical Skills
The ideal candidate should have experience with:
- Advanced Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, Power Query, and advanced formulas.
- SQL databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL.
- Power BI dashboard development, data modeling, and DAX calculations.
- Tableau reporting and data visualization tools.
- Data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence solutions.
- Data cleaning, validation, and transformation techniques.
- KPI development and performance reporting.
- Statistical analysis and forecasting methods.
- ETL processes and data integration concepts.
Preferred Skills
Experience in the following areas will be considered an advantage:
- Python (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib)
- Power Automate
- ERP Systems such as SAP, Oracle ERP, or Microsoft Dynamics
- Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence Architecture
- Predictive Analytics and Advanced Reporting Solutions
