We are currently looking for an experienced Desktop Support Engineer to join the IT team for a 45-day contract. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving technical issues, supporting users directly, and ensuring that everyday technology works smoothly across the workplace.
As a Desktop Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing on-site technical assistance, helping employees resolve issues related to desktop computers, laptops, network connections, and printing devices. Your work will help keep daily operations running without interruptions caused by technical problems.
This position requires someone who is comfortable working in a hands-on IT support environment, assisting users, troubleshooting problems, and maintaining systems across different department branches.
About the Role
In this role, you will provide practical IT support to ensure that all desktop systems and related equipment are working properly. You will help diagnose and fix issues with computers, operating systems, printers, and network connections so that employees can continue their work without delays.
Your responsibilities will include installing and configuring systems, resolving technical issues, and assisting staff members who require support with their devices or software.
Since the role involves visiting different department branches to provide on-site support, candidates must have their own car for transportation when needed.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide on-site desktop and IT support to employees across department branches
- Install and set up desktop computers, laptops, and related devices

- Install and maintain printers and other office equipment
- Respond to user support requests and resolve technical issues efficiently
- Ensure desktop systems and devices are working properly and reliably

Requirements
- Proven experience working as a Desktop Support Engineer, IT Support Technician, or Helpdesk Support Specialist
- Good knowledge of Windows operating systems and desktop environments
- Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, network, and printer issues
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to communicate clearly with users and provide helpful support
- Comfortable working independently and visiting different department locations
- Must have own car to travel to department branches when required
