Full-Time Electrical Generator Engineer Required in KSA | Airport Infrastructure Projects

We’re currently searching for an experienced Electrical Generator Engineer to join our team and support ongoing airport projects across Saudi Arabia. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys being on site, working hands-on with diesel generators, and playing a key part in delivering reliable power systems for critical infrastructure.

About the Role
In this position, you’ll be involved in every stage of generator works, from installation and testing to synchronization and long-term maintenance. Your day-to-day work will focus on ensuring uninterrupted power for airport facilities, terminals, and supporting buildings.
You’ll work closely with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and airport authorities, making sure everything is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with Saudi regulations and project requirements. This is a practical, site-based role where your technical skills truly matter.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Installing, testing, and commissioning diesel generators on airport sites
• Carrying out synchronization and load testing, and connecting generators to LV/MV systems
• Finding and fixing electrical and mechanical issues in generators and control panels
• Performing routine preventive maintenance as well as urgent corrective repairs
• Working with ATS systems, synchronization panels, and control modules
• Reviewing drawings and electrical schematics before and during installation
• Coordinating daily activities with consultants, contractors, and airport teams
• Making sure all work complies with GACA, SEC, and Saudi electrical standards
• Preparing commissioning reports, technical documents, and site records
• Managing site activities independently and helping projects stay on schedule
• Providing practical solutions when technical challenges arise
What We’re Looking For
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
• At least 5–8 years of hands-on experience with diesel generators
• Proven experience on airport projects in Saudi Arabia (mandatory)
• Strong knowledge of ATS systems, synchronization panels, and MV/LV networks
• Familiarity with Saudi regulations and approval procedures
• Ability to work independently on site and resolve technical issues with confidence
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Bonus Points If You Have
• Experience with major generator brands like MTU, Cummins, Caterpillar, or FG Wilson
• Background in critical power systems for airports, data centers, or large infrastructure projects
