Full-Time Experienced Construction Manager – Overhead Powerline Projects
Job Description
We are currently looking for an experienced Construction Manager to lead and manage specialized Cathodic Protection and Overhead Powerline projects within the oil and gas sector. This role is ideal for a senior professional who has extensive experience handling large engineering and construction projects, especially those related to Saudi Aramco standards and infrastructure development.
The selected candidate will play a key role in planning, supervising, and successfully delivering construction projects from start to completion. You will be responsible for coordinating teams, ensuring work is carried out safely and efficiently, and making sure all construction activities meet the required technical and quality standards.

About the Role
As a Construction Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall progress of construction activities related to Cathodic Protection systems and Overhead Powerline installations. Your role will involve managing site operations, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring that all work is completed according to Saudi Aramco requirements and international engineering standards.
You will work closely with engineers, subcontractors, consultants, and company management to ensure projects move forward smoothly. Your leadership will help maintain productivity on site while ensuring safety, quality, and project timelines are consistently met. m
This role requires someone who is confident in managing complex projects, guiding technical teams, and maintaining strong communication with all stakeholders involved in the project.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership
- Lead the planning and execution of Cathodic Protection and Overhead Powerline projects
- Develop practical project plans and ensure work progresses according to the project schedule
- Monitor construction progress and ensure project goals are achieved within the planned timeframe
Site Supervision
- Supervise daily construction activities and coordinate with engineering teams and subcontractors
- Ensure that site work follows approved drawings and technical specifications
- Provide guidance and support to engineers and site supervisors when technical issues arise
Compliance & Quality
- Ensure all construction work follows Saudi Aramco specifications and international engineering standards
- Maintain high standards for safety, quality, and environmental compliance
- Review construction work and documentation to confirm everything meets project requirements
Coordination & Communication
- Act as the main contact between clients, consultants, contractors, and internal management
- Conduct project meetings and provide updates on progress and challenges
- Maintain smooth communication between all teams involved in the project
Project Monitoring
- Keep track of project schedules, budgets, and resources
- Identify potential issues early and implement solutions to keep projects on track
- Ensure proper documentation and reporting throughout the construction process
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field
- Minimum 15 years of experience in Cathodic Protection and Overhead Powerline projects
- At least 5 years of experience in a senior or management-level construction role
- Direct experience working on Saudi Aramco Oil & Gas projects (mandatory)
- Strong understanding of construction management, engineering supervision, and infrastructure development
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong communication and decision-making abilities
Preferred Skills
- Solid experience in oil and gas infrastructure projects
- Good understanding of cathodic protection systems and corrosion protection techniques
- Experience managing overhead electrical powerline construction projects
- Ability to lead large teams and coordinate multiple contractors
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex project situations
