Job Description
We are currently looking for an experienced SHES Supervisor to join its team in Qatar.If you’re someone who genuinely cares about workplace safety and takes pride in creating a secure, compliant, and well-managed site environment, this could be the right opportunity for you.
About the Role
In this position, you’ll take the lead in making sure everything on site runs safely and smoothly. From identifying risks to guiding teams on best practices, your role will be key in maintaining high safety standards across all project activities.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Overseeing day-to-day health, safety, environmental, and security practices on site
- Carrying out regular inspections and risk assessments to prevent potential hazards
- Making sure all activities follow local Qatar safety regulations and international standards
- Conducting toolbox talks and safety briefings to keep teams informed and alert
- Monitoring the proper use of PPE and safety equipment
- Investigating any incidents and helping implement preventive measures
- Working closely with engineers, supervisors, and project teams to maintain a safe work environment
- Keeping accurate safety records and reports up to date
What We’re Looking For
- A relevant qualification in Safety, Engineering, or Environmental studies
- Solid experience in HSE / SHES roles, especially in construction, E&I, or industrial projects
- Familiarity with Qatar or Gulf safety regulations
- Certifications like NEBOSH or IOSH will be a big advantage
- Good communication and leadership skills
- Ability to manage responsibilities on busy project sites
- Candidates who are physically fit and preferably under 45 years of age
