Full-Time Hiring Planning Engineer – Construction Scheduling Role
Job Description
We’re on the lookout for a talented and detail-driven Planning Engineer to join our growing construction team. If you enjoy working with timelines, solving project challenges, and keeping everything on track from start to finish, this role could be a great fit for you.
In this position, you’ll be at the heart of project execution—planning schedules, tracking progress, and helping the team deliver projects smoothly, on time, and within budget. Your work will directly impact how efficiently our projects run.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Create and manage project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project
- Break down projects into clear plans (WBS) and keep timelines realistic and achievable
- Work closely with site teams, project managers, and subcontractors to ensure everything stays aligned
- Track daily progress and prepare weekly and monthly reports with clear updates
- Identify delays early and suggest practical solutions and recovery plans
- Plan manpower, materials, and resources to avoid bottlenecks
- Support cost tracking and help monitor project performance
- Prepare short-term look-ahead plans to guide site activities
- Join project meetings and provide planning insights to support decision-making
What We’re Looking For:
- 3–7 years of experience in construction planning or project scheduling
- Strong working knowledge of Primavera P6 and/or MS Project
- Good understanding of construction workflows and project timelines
- Ability to track progress, spot risks, and keep projects moving forward
- Comfortable working with data, reports, and Excel tools
- Clear communication and coordination skills
- Someone who can stay organized and perform well under deadlines
