We’re currently searching for a dedicated and safety-minded HSE Officer to join our construction team for ongoing road and infrastructure projects.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys being on site, working closely with teams, and making sure everyone goes home safe at the end of the day. If you’re hands-on, detail-oriented, and passionate about site safety, we’d love to hear from you.
About the Role
As our HSE Officer, you’ll be actively involved in daily site safety activities. You’ll support workers and supervisors by conducting inspections, guiding safe work practices, assisting with toolbox talks, and keeping safety records organized.
You’ll work closely with engineers, supervisors, and labour teams to reduce risks, improve awareness, and make sure all site activities follow health and safety requirements.
Your contribution will directly help create a safer workplace and smoother project delivery.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Carrying out daily safety inspections on road and infrastructure sites
• Making sure workers follow safety rules and wear proper PPE
• Supporting toolbox talks and safety inductions
• Identifying hazards and unsafe conditions and reporting them right away
• Assisting HSE Engineers and Managers with on-site safety tasks
• Helping with incident and near-miss investigations
• Supporting corrective actions to improve site safety
• Keeping HSE records, reports, and documentation up to date
• Monitoring subcontractor safety practices
• Promoting safety awareness among site teams
• Coordinating with supervisors to improve overall safety performance
• Supporting emergency preparedness and basic safety planning
What We’re Looking For
• Previous experience as an HSE Officer on construction or infrastructure projects
• Good understanding of site safety practices and procedures
• Experience in road or infrastructure works is a strong plus
• Comfortable conducting inspections and preparing basic safety reports
• Familiar with PPE, toolbox talks, and risk awareness
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Proactive attitude with strong attention to detail
• Able to work independently on active construction sites
• Safety-first mindset with practical problem-solving skills
