Job Description
We’re currently on the lookout for an experienced Safety Officer (HSE Officer) to join a well-established team working on major Oil & Gas and EPC projects in Saudi Arabia. If you have a strong background in site safety and genuinely care about keeping workplaces safe and compliant, this could be a great fit for you.
This role is ideal for someone who is confident on-site, understands real-world safety challenges, and can take ownership of maintaining high safety standards across busy project environments.
What You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you’ll be actively involved in day-to-day site safety operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out regular site inspections and identifying potential hazards
- Making sure all activities follow proper HSE and safety regulations
- Preparing risk assessments, safety reports, and method statements
- Conducting toolbox talks and safety briefings for workers
- Ensuring proper use of PPE and safe work practices
- Investigating incidents and helping prevent future risks
- Working closely with engineers, supervisors, and management
- Monitoring permit-to-work systems and site compliance
- Promoting a strong safety mindset across the team
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who meets the following:
- Good communication skills in English (both spoken and written)
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in Oil & Gas, EPC, or construction projects
- Solid understanding of site safety practices and HSE procedures
- Relevant academic qualification in safety or a related field
- Must hold certifications such as:
- OSHA
- NEBOSH IGC
- NSC
- Prior GCC experience is required
- Familiarity with Aramco safety standards is a big plus
- A proactive attitude with the ability to handle site responsibilities confidently
