Job Description
We are currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Painting / Coating QC Inspector to join our team for a long-term project. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with experience in Aramco and Non-Aramco projects who are passionate about quality, inspection, and maintaining the highest industry standards.

About the Role
As a Painting / Coating QC Inspector, you will play an important role in ensuring that all painting and coating activities are carried out according to project specifications, client requirements, and international quality standards.
You will be responsible for inspecting surface preparation, monitoring coating applications, conducting quality checks, and ensuring that all work meets the required standards before project completion. Your expertise will help maintain the integrity, durability, and long-term protection of critical structures and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect surface preparation activities before painting and coating applications.
- Monitor abrasive blasting, painting, and coating work to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Verify that coating materials and consumables are approved and used correctly.
- Conduct visual inspections and quality checks throughout the coating process.
- Measure Dry Film Thickness (DFT) and Wet Film Thickness (WFT).
- Perform holiday testing, adhesion testing, and other coating inspections when required.
- Monitor environmental conditions such as temperature, humidity, and dew point before and during coating activities.
- Identify coating defects and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Prepare daily inspection reports and maintain accurate quality records.
- Review project specifications, inspection test plans (ITPs), and quality procedures.
- Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, contractors, and client representatives to resolve quality-related issues.
- Ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with safety regulations and quality standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Painting / Coating QC Inspector.
- Experience working on Aramco and Non-Aramco projects.
- BGAS Certification is preferred.
- Strong understanding of industrial painting, protective coatings, and corrosion prevention systems.
- Knowledge of international standards such as SSPC, ASTM, ISO, and NACE.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings, specifications, and quality documents.
- Good reporting and documentation skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage inspection activities efficiently.
