Full-Time Join as Construction Manager – Deliver World-Class Mining Projects in the Middle East
Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced Construction Manager to lead the execution of large-scale mining, mineral processing, and natural resources projects. This is a hands-on leadership role for a professional with a proven track record of delivering complex, high-value construction projects in remote or logistically challenging environments, ideally in the Middle East.
Why This Role is Exciting:
- You’ll have end-to-end ownership of construction, from mobilisation through to mechanical completion and handover.
- You’ll lead and inspire large multidisciplinary teams (Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, Instrumentation – CSMPE&I).
- You’ll work directly with EPC contractors, including Chinese EPCs, managing interfaces and ensuring smooth execution.
- You’ll tackle the challenges of remote and greenfield projects, delivering excellence in demanding environments.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Taking full responsibility for site construction, including safety, schedule, cost, and quality.
- Developing and owning the Construction Execution Plan (CEP), ensuring it drives results.
- Coordinating closely with engineering, procurement, and commissioning teams to keep projects on track.
- Managing contractor performance, claims, and variations while maintaining strong partnerships.
- Leading by example with visible HSE leadership, ensuring the highest standards of safety.
- Overseeing workforce mobilisation, productivity, welfare, and engagement.
- Managing site logistics, temporary facilities, and material/equipment flow.
- Providing accurate progress tracking, reporting, and project control support to leadership teams.
- Mentoring and guiding site engineers and supervisors, fostering a culture of excellence.
What We’re Looking For:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field (Civil, Mechanical, Mining, or Electrical preferred).
- At least 15 years’ experience in construction leadership, delivering USD 100M+ projects.
- Proven experience in mining, mineral processing, or large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Hands-on expertise with EPC/EPCM contracts (FIDIC/NEC) and managing contractors.
- Comfort and experience working in remote, logistically complex, or greenfield sites.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 or equivalent project management tools.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
