We’re urgently looking for an experienced Mechanical Estimation Engineer to join our fabrication team in Jubail. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with drawings, quantities, and costs—and who takes pride in preparing accurate estimates that help win projects.

About the Role
As our Mechanical Estimation Engineer, you’ll be responsible for preparing cost estimates for a variety of fabrication projects. Your day-to-day work will include reviewing drawings, calculating quantities, preparing BOQs, and supporting tender submissions.
You’ll work closely with production and procurement teams to make sure all pricing reflects real material costs, labour requirements, and fabrication processes. Your contribution will play a key role in securing new projects and supporting business growth.
This is mainly an office-based role, with regular coordination with factory and project teams.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Preparing detailed cost estimates for mechanical and fabrication works
• Taking off quantities from fabrication drawings and specifications
• Preparing BOQs and tender documents
• Reviewing mechanical drawings and scope of work
• Coordinating with procurement for material pricing
• Working with production teams to estimate fabrication hours and resources
• Analysing labour, material, and overhead costs
• Supporting tender submissions and handling clarifications
• Keeping estimation records and cost databases up to date
• Assisting with value engineering and cost-saving ideas when needed
What We’re Looking For
• At least 5 years of experience in mechanical estimation or fabrication costing
• Strong background in material take-offs and tender preparation
• Good understanding of mechanical drawings and fabrication processes
• Experience with steel or piping fabrication is a big advantage
• Comfortable working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines
• Good attention to detail and documentation skills
• Transferable Iqama is mandatory
• Available to join immediately
