Full-Time Planning Engineer Recruitment for Infrastructure and Construction Projects

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project planning, scheduling, project controls, progress monitoring, and delay analysis. About the Role
As a Planning Engineer, you will play a vital role in the planning and execution of projects from start to finish. You will be responsible for preparing and maintaining project schedules, monitoring progress, identifying potential delays, and providing valuable insights that support project success.
You will work closely with project managers, engineers, consultants, and clients to ensure that project milestones are achieved efficiently and in line with contractual requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, update, and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6.
- Prepare baseline schedules, look-ahead schedules, and recovery plans.
- Monitor project progress and compare actual performance against planned targets.
- Identify schedule risks, delays, and potential bottlenecks before they impact project delivery.
- Conduct schedule reviews and critical path analysis.
- Assist with delay analysis and the preparation of Extension of Time (EOT) claims.
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for management and clients.
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure accurate planning and reporting.
- Support project controls activities, including forecasting and performance monitoring.
- Participate in project meetings and provide planning-related recommendations.
- Help develop practical solutions to keep projects on schedule and within agreed timelines.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field.
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in planning and scheduling for construction, infrastructure, industrial, or engineering projects.
- Strong working knowledge of Primavera P6.
- Experience in project planning, scheduling, project controls, and progress tracking.
- Familiarity with delay analysis techniques and EOT claim preparation is highly preferred.
- Good understanding of construction processes and project lifecycle management.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment.
Mandatory Requirements
- Active Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) Registration.
- Valid and Transferable Iqama.
- Currently based in Saudi Arabia.
