Job Description
We are urgently looking for a qualified Safety Officer (C1 Certified) to join a long-term high voltage electrical project in Fadhili, Saudi Arabia.
If you have solid experience working in high-risk electrical environments and hold a valid C1 certification for high electrical voltage areas, this could be a great opportunity to secure a stable role on a major project.
About the Role
As a Safety Officer, your main responsibility will be to keep the worksite safe — especially in high voltage zones where strict safety standards must be followed at all times.
You will ensure that all workers follow proper safety procedures, use the correct protective equipment, and comply with HSE regulations. Your presence on-site will help prevent accidents, reduce risks, and maintain a safe working environment for everyone involved.
This role is ideal for someone who takes safety seriously, pays attention to detail, and is confident enforcing rules when needed.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Monitoring daily site activities to ensure safety rules are followed
- Supervising work in high voltage areas to prevent electrical hazards
- Conducting regular site inspections and identifying potential risks
- Implementing corrective actions for unsafe conditions
- Delivering toolbox talks and safety briefings
- Ensuring proper use of PPE at all times
- Maintaining safety reports and documentation
- Investigating incidents or near-misses and recommending preventive measures
- Coordinating with engineers, supervisors, and project teams to maintain compliance
- Supporting emergency response procedures when required
What We’re Looking For
- Valid C1 Certification (High Electrical Voltage Area) – mandatory
- Previous experience as a Safety Officer, HSE Officer, or Electrical Safety Supervisor
- Experience working on industrial, power, oil & gas, or large construction projects preferred
- Strong understanding of workplace safety standards and electrical hazard control
- Ability to confidently enforce safety procedures
- Good reporting and communication skills
- Immediate availability preferred
