Full-Time Senior Mechanical Engineer – Fire Fighting and Plumbing | Construction
Job Description
We’re currently looking for an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our construction team. This role is perfect for someone who has strong hands-on experience with Fire Fighting and Plumbing systems and enjoys leading site activities, coordinating with different teams, and seeing projects through from design review to final commissioning.

About the Role
As our Senior Mechanical Engineer, you’ll take the lead on all mechanical works on site, with a strong focus on Fire Fighting and Plumbing systems. You’ll be involved in reviewing drawings, supervising installations, solving technical challenges, and supporting testing and commissioning.
You’ll work closely with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal project teams to make sure everything runs smoothly and meets project standards. This is a hands-on leadership role where your technical experience and coordination skills will make a real impact.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Leading Fire Fighting and Plumbing works on construction sites
• Reviewing design drawings, shop drawings, and technical submissions
• Making sure installations follow approved plans and international standards
• Coordinating daily activities with consultants, contractors, and site teams
• Monitoring progress, quality, and productivity on site
• Identifying issues early and providing practical engineering solutions
• Supporting testing, commissioning, and system handover
• Managing manpower, materials, and site resources
• Ensuring safety rules are followed at all times
• Preparing progress reports and helping with as-built documentation
• Supporting project schedules and helping deliver works on time
• Guiding and mentoring junior engineers and site staff
What We’re Looking For
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• At least 10 years of experience on construction projects
• Strong knowledge of Fire Fighting and Plumbing systems
• Hands-on experience with design review, installation, testing, and commissioning
• Familiarity with international mechanical codes and standards
• Confident leadership and site management skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Good communication and problem-solving abilities
