Job Description
We’re looking for an experienced Market Sales Engineer who can help grow our aftermarket business for centrifugal pumps and rotating equipment. If you like solving real problems on-site and turning them into business opportunities, this role could be a great fit.
About the Role:
In this role, you’ll focus on expanding our aftermarket services—including spare parts, repairs, upgrades, and long-term service agreements. You’ll be working with clients across industries like oil & gas, petrochemical, power, and water, helping them improve performance and reliability of their equipment.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Finding new opportunities and growing aftermarket sales in your assigned area
- Promoting services like spare parts, repairs, upgrades, and service contracts
- Building strong, long-term relationships with both new and existing clients
- Visiting sites to understand issues and help troubleshoot pump performance problems
- Preparing proposals, quotations, and service agreements
- Working closely with service teams, suppliers, and internal departments
- Following up with clients and ensuring timely delivery of services
- Keeping track of your sales pipeline, targets, and progress
- Staying updated on market trends, competitors, and customer needs
- Making sure all work follows safety standards and company policies
What We’re Looking For:
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Around 6–8 years of experience in pump sales, aftermarket services, or rotating equipment
- Good understanding of centrifugal pumps, hydraulics, and repair processes
- Familiarity with major brands like Sulzer, Flowserve, KSB, or Sundyne
- Experience in client handling, B2B sales, and business development
- Ability to understand technical details and explain them clearly to clients
- Comfortable using tools like MS Office, CRM, or ERP systems (SAP is a plus)
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Willingness to travel regularly for client visits and site work
- Good command of English (Arabic is an added advantage)
Nice to Have:
- Experience in industries like oil & gas, petrochemical, power, or water
- Knowledge of API 610 standards and pump performance basics
- Existing client connections in relevant sectors
