What the Role Looks Like
As an HSE Officer, you’ll be actively involved in day-to-day site operations. You won’t just be checking boxes—you’ll be guiding teams, spotting potential risks early, and helping create a work environment where safety is always a priority.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Making sure all site activities follow HSE policies and safety standards
- Carrying out regular site inspections and identifying potential hazards
- Preparing risk assessments and Job Safety Analysis (JSA) before work begins
- Leading toolbox talks and safety briefings to keep everyone aligned
- Monitoring proper use of PPE and safe work practices
- Investigating incidents or near misses and helping prevent future issues
- Keeping all safety reports and documentation up to date
- Supporting emergency preparedness and response when needed
- Encouraging a strong, positive safety culture across the team
What We’re Looking For
- A valid Iqama under HSE profession (this is required)
- Registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) as an HSE Officer or Technician
- Around 4–5 years of hands-on HSE experience
- Experience in construction, infrastructure, or industrial projects
- Airport project experience will definitely give you an edge
- Good understanding of safety practices, risk management, and compliance
Qualifications & Certifications
- Degree or diploma in Safety, Engineering, or a related field
- Certifications like NEBOSH, IOSH, or OSHA are a big plus
- Additional training such as First Aid, Fire Safety, H2S, or Working at Height is beneficial
