Key Responsibilities
Financial Accounting & Reporting
- Maintain accurate accounting records and financial documentation.
- Prepare journal entries, financial statements, balance sheets, and management reports.
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
- Assist with monthly and yearly financial closing processes.
- Monitor daily financial transactions and ensure accuracy in reporting.
- Support budgeting and financial planning activities.
Payroll & Employee Coordination
- Prepare and process employee salaries and payroll records.
- Monitor attendance, overtime, and employee working hours.
- Maintain employee financial records and payroll documentation.
- Coordinate payroll-related matters with the HR department.
Costing & Inventory Management
- Monitor company expenses and maintain cost accounting records.
- Conduct periodic inventory checks and stock audits.
- Track inventory movement and assist with inventory reconciliation.
- Prepare inventory and cost analysis reports when required.
Procurement & Sales Support
- Prepare quotations, commercial offers, and purchase orders.
- Compare supplier prices and evaluate procurement costs.
- Coordinate with suppliers regarding invoices and payments.
- Support sales and procurement teams with financial documentation.
Project Accounting
- Review contractor payment certificates and project-related invoices.
- Verify project expenses and payment documents.
- Monitor project costs and maintain proper financial tracking for projects.
Taxation & Compliance
- Handle VAT, Income Tax, and Zakat-related documentation and submissions.
- Prepare tax returns and maintain proper compliance records.
- Ensure all accounting activities comply with company policies and local regulations.
- Assist auditors by providing required financial reports and supporting documents.
ERP System Management
- Manage accounting records using Odoo ERP Software.
- Ensure accurate data entry and transaction recording within the ERP system.
- Generate financial and operational reports through ERP software.
Government & Administrative Coordination
- Follow up on official procedures, approvals, and company documentation.
- Maintain organized records for licenses, registrations, and compliance documents.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in accounting and finance.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, payroll, taxation, and inventory accounting.
- Experience working with Odoo ERP or similar accounting software.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple responsibilities.
- Fluency in English is required.
