Job Description
We’re looking for a dependable and detail-focused Accountant to join our team. If you have experience handling accounts in the logistics, transport, or customs clearance sector and enjoy working with numbers, records, and reports, this could be a great fit for you.
About the Role
In this role, you’ll take care of day-to-day accounting tasks while supporting financial activities related to logistics and customs operations. You’ll work closely with the operations team to ensure all financial records, billing, and documentation are accurate and up to date.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Maintaining accurate financial records, including ledgers and accounts payable and receivable
- Preparing monthly financial statements and supporting regular reporting
- Handling customs-related documentation such as VAT filings, duty payments, and clearance costs
- Performing bank and vendor reconciliations, especially for transport and shipping invoices
- Coordinating with operations to ensure correct billing for both local and international shipments
What We’re Looking For
- Full professional fluency in Arabic and English (spoken and written)
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Previous experience in logistics, transport, or customs clearance is highly preferred
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software such as Tally, Odoo, or SAP
