Job Description
We’re on the lookout for a reliable and experienced Chief Accountant to take full ownership of our accounting and finance operations. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys being hands-on, understands the day-to-day realities of trading, flower shop, and restaurant (F&B) businesses, and can confidently support management with clear, accurate financial information.

What This Role Is About
As our Chief Accountant, you’ll be responsible for managing the complete accounting cycle across multiple business activities. You’ll make sure our numbers are accurate, our systems are running smoothly, and our financial processes are well controlled and compliant. You’ll also play an important role in guiding the accounting team and improving how we work.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Handle the full accounting cycle for trading, flower shop, and restaurant operations
- Oversee daily accounting tasks including general ledger, payables, receivables, payroll, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management
- Monitor costs, inventory, recipes, wastage, and COGS for F&B and flower businesses
- Manage POS integrations, daily sales reconciliation, and branch/store profitability reports
- Ensure full compliance with Saudi VAT, Zakat, and other local tax requirements
- Coordinate with external auditors and maintain proper financial documentation
- Improve internal controls and streamline accounting and financial procedures
- Supervise, support, and mentor junior accounting staff
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or ACCA is a strong advantage)
- 5–7 years of hands-on experience, specifically in:
- Trading companies
- Flower shop accounting
- Restaurant / F&B accounting
- Strong practical experience with Microsoft Dynamics (D365 / AX / GP)
- Good knowledge of inventory management, cost accounting, and POS systems
- Solid understanding of IFRS and Saudi tax regulations (VAT & Zakat)
- Currently based in Saudi Arabia with a transferable IQAMA preferred
