Job Description
We’re looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Accountant (Male) to become part of our team. If you enjoy working with numbers, have an eye for detail, and want to build a rewarding career in accounting and finance, we’d love to hear from you.
As an Assistant Accountant, you’ll support our day-to-day financial operations and help ensure that our accounting records are accurate and up to date. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and grow professionally in a supportive work environment.
Your Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update daily accounting records and financial transactions
- Prepare invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and other accounting documents
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
- Perform bank reconciliations and manage petty cash records
- Help prepare monthly financial reports and statements
- Organise and maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records
- Coordinate with different departments regarding accounting requirements
- Assist with inventory-related accounting and record keeping when needed
- Support the finance team with administrative and reporting tasks
What We’re Looking For:
- Male candidate
- Educational background in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field is preferred
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping procedures
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Familiarity with accounting software will be an advantage
- Strong attention to detail and good numerical skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Good communication and organisational abilities
- Previous experience in accounting or finance is a plus, but motivated candidates willing to learn are also encouraged to apply
