We Are Looking for an Electrical Draftsman . Are you an experienced Electrical Draftsman with a passion for creating accurate technical drawings and supporting successful construction projects? We are currently looking for a skilled and detail-oriented professional to join our team.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced engineering and construction environment and wants to be part of projects that make a real impact. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in electrical drafting, excellent knowledge of AutoCAD, and a solid understanding of electrical systems used in commercial, residential, industrial, and infrastructure projects.
About the Role
As an Electrical Draftsman, you will be responsible for preparing and updating electrical drawings, shop drawings, layouts, and technical documentation required for project execution. You will work closely with engineers, project teams, consultants, and contractors to ensure that all drawings are accurate, coordinated, and aligned with project requirements.
Your attention to detail and technical expertise will play an important role in helping projects move smoothly from design to construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed electrical shop drawings and construction drawings.
- Create layouts for power distribution, lighting systems, emergency lighting, and electrical services.
- Develop single-line diagrams, schematic drawings, panel schedules, and cable routing drawings.
- Assist in preparing fire alarm, CCTV, access control, and ELV system drawings when required.
- Review project specifications, engineering drawings, and technical requirements.
- Coordinate with engineers and project teams to ensure drawing accuracy.
- Revise drawings based on client feedback, consultant comments, and site requirements.
- Prepare as-built drawings and final project documentation.
- Maintain organized records of drawings, revisions, and project documents.
- Ensure all drawings comply with project standards and industry requirements.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience as an Electrical Draftsman.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and related drafting software.
- Good understanding of electrical systems and construction practices.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality work within project deadlines.
