We’re currently looking for a skilled Estimation Engineer (Civil / MEP) to join our team. If you have solid experience in construction estimation, tendering, and project costing, this could be the right step forward in your career.
About the Role
As an Estimation Engineer, you’ll play a key role in preparing reliable project cost estimates and supporting the tendering process. Your work will directly impact how projects are planned, priced, and delivered.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Preparing detailed cost estimates, BOQs (Bill of Quantities), and tender documents
- Reviewing drawings, specifications, and project requirements to understand the full scope
- Carrying out quantity take-offs with accuracy and attention to detail
- Coordinating with design, procurement, and project teams for updated information
- Comparing and evaluating supplier and subcontractor quotations
- Identifying smarter, cost-effective ways to deliver projects through value engineering
- Assisting with tender submissions, pricing strategies, and documentation
- Monitoring material costs, labor rates, and market trends
- Supporting project teams with cost insights even after project award
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
- 5–10 years of hands-on experience in estimation, tendering, or cost planning
- Good understanding of construction methods, materials, and MEP systems
- Comfortable working with estimation tools, Excel, and project software
- Familiarity with contracts and industry standards (FIDIC knowledge is a plus)
- Strong analytical thinking, communication, and negotiation skills
- Someone who can manage deadlines and handle multiple tenders with confidence
