Job Description
We’re looking for a skilled and hands-on Financial Accountant to join our team. If you’re someone who enjoys working with numbers, building clear financial insights, and supporting leadership with smart, data-driven decisions, this role could be a great fit for you.
About the Role
In this role, you’ll take full ownership of the company’s financial planning, reporting, and compliance activities. You’ll work closely with management to manage budgets, control costs, and provide accurate financial information that supports day-to-day and strategic decisions.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead annual budgeting and forecasting, manage cash flow, and analyse differences between actual results and budgets
- Create and maintain standard pricing lists for AV and non-AV items, along with accurate inventory records to support quick decision-making
- Analyse financial data and share practical insights to improve performance and control costs
- Prepare and manage P&L statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow reports in line with IFRS requirements
- Handle VAT and Zakat filings and act as the main contact for auditors and regulatory authorities
- Strengthen internal controls to reduce risk and prevent errors or fraud
- Oversee payroll processing and manage banking relationships
- Set up and manage a clear payment system for temporary and event staff, ensuring accurate and on-time payments
- Track and control petty cash for technical teams and keep accurate records for all temporary hires
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience in financial accounting and reporting
- Solid understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Hands-on knowledge of VAT, Zakat, and audit processes
- Good working knowledge of IFRS standards
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and clearly explain financial information
