Job Description
We are urgently looking for a dedicated and experienced Safety Officer to join our team for a long-term project under United Value ID. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe and secure working environment by following health and safety regulations and supporting daily site operations.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Making sure all health and safety procedures are followed on site
- Carrying out site inspections, risk assessments, and safety checks
- Identifying potential hazards and taking preventive action
- Preparing safety reports and incident documentation
- Ensuring workers use proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
- Conducting toolbox talks, safety briefings, and inductions
- Working closely with engineers and supervisors to maintain safety standards
- Keeping all safety records organized and up to date
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualification in Occupational Health & Safety
- Certifications like NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent
- At least 2–5 years of experience in construction or industrial safety
- Good understanding of site safety practices and compliance standards
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to handle responsibilities with confidence and attention to detail
- Candidates who can join immediately will be given preference
Additional Advantage:
- Experience in large-scale or government projects
- Knowledge of ISO safety standards (ISO 45001, ISO 14001)
- A proactive and responsible approach to workplace safety
