About the Role
The Safety Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that all site activities are carried out safely and in line with company HSE policies, Saudi regulations, and international safety standards. The role involves conducting inspections, monitoring work activities, identifying potential hazards, and helping create a strong safety culture across the project site.
The successful candidate will work closely with project managers, engineers, supervisors, and workers to ensure a safe and productive working environment for everyone involved.
Main Responsibilities
- Carry out regular site inspections and identify safety risks
- Ensure workers and contractors follow approved safety procedures
- Monitor daily site operations and maintain compliance with HSE regulations
- Prepare risk assessments, method statements, and safety plans
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and awareness sessions
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses and prepare reports
- Recommend corrective actions to improve workplace safety
- Maintain HSE records, reports, and documentation
- Ensure proper use of PPE and safe work practices on site
- Support emergency response planning and safety drills
- Coordinate with site teams and management on all safety-related matters
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Occupational Safety
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in HSE or Safety Engineering roles
- Experience in construction, industrial, infrastructure, or oil & gas projects preferred
- Strong knowledge of OSHA, NEBOSH, and workplace safety regulations
- Good communication and reporting skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced project environments
- Strong understanding of hazard identification and risk management
- Saudi National candidates only

- Experience working on large-scale projects in Saudi Arabia
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
