Full-Time Senior Mechanical / Piping Draftsman | Site and Office Support
Job Description
We’re currently looking for an experienced Mechanical / Piping Draftsman to join our project team. This role is open to local candidates only, and we’re specifically searching for immediate joiners who are ready to start right away.
If you have hands-on experience preparing piping drawings and enjoy supporting construction teams with accurate technical documents, we’d be happy to hear from you.
About the Role
As our Mechanical / Piping Draftsman, you’ll play an important part in supporting site execution by preparing clear and detailed drawings. You’ll work closely with mechanical engineers and project teams to produce shop drawings, piping layouts, isometrics, and as-built drawings based on project requirements.
This is a practical, office-and-site support role where attention to detail and teamwork really matter.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Preparing mechanical and piping shop drawings, layouts, and isometric drawings
• Reading and understanding P&IDs and mechanical specifications
• Developing fabrication and installation drawings for site use
• Updating drawings based on site changes and engineer feedback
• Coordinating with engineers and construction teams
• Maintaining drawing revisions and records
• Assisting with as-built drawings at project completion
• Making sure all drawings meet project standards
What We’re Looking For
• Proven experience as a Mechanical / Piping Draftsman
• Strong knowledge of piping layouts, isometrics, and shop drawings
• Comfortable reading P&IDs and construction drawings
• Experience on construction or MEP projects is preferred
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently
• Must be available locally and ready to join immediately
