Full-Time Site Engineer Recruitment for Steel Fabrication and Cladding Installation Projects
Job Description
We are looking for a Site Engineer to join our team for ongoing construction and industrial projects in Saudi Arabia.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working on large-scale steel buildings, industrial facilities, warehouses, and complex structural projects. If you have hands-on experience managing site activities, coordinating installation works, and ensuring projects are delivered safely and on time, we would love to hear from you.
As a Site Engineer, you will play a key role in supervising steel structure works, roofing and wall cladding installation, coordinating lifting operations, and supporting smooth day-to-day site execution.
Your Main Responsibilities
Steel Structure Installation
- Supervise the erection and installation of steel structures, including complex and irregular-shaped structural systems.
- Coordinate crane operations, lifting activities, and steel assembly works on-site.
- Ensure all installation work is carried out according to approved drawings, project specifications, and safety requirements.
- Work closely with project managers, supervisors, and technical teams to resolve any site-related challenges.
Roofing & Wall Cladding Works
- Oversee the installation of roofing sheets, wall cladding panels, flashing, gutters, and related components.
- Ensure proper alignment, waterproofing, sealing, and finishing of all cladding systems.
- Monitor workmanship quality and ensure the final installation meets project standards.
Site Coordination & Daily Operations
- Coordinate with subcontractors, site supervisors, and workers to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor daily site progress and assist in achieving project deadlines.
- Prepare daily reports, progress updates, and site documentation.
- Attend site meetings and provide technical support whenever required.
Quality & Safety Control
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure work quality meets engineering and client requirements.
- Maintain compliance with HSE regulations and construction safety procedures.
- Identify potential issues early and take corrective action to avoid delays or rework.
- Promote a safe and organized working environment for all site personnel.
Documentation & Communication
- Maintain records of site activities, inspections, material usage, and completed works.
- Review technical drawings and coordinate with engineering teams for clarifications.
- Communicate effectively with consultants, contractors, and internal departments throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in steel structure and construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of structural steel erection, roofing systems, and wall cladding installation.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and project specifications.
- Experience coordinating lifting operations and heavy equipment activities.
- Familiarity with international construction safety standards and QA/QC procedures.
- Good communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment and handle project deadlines.
- Previous GCC or Saudi Arabia experience will be an added advantage.
