About the Role
As a Store Keeper, you will be responsible for managing bakery raw materials, monitoring stock movement, and ensuring all inventory is stored safely and accurately. Your role will be important in helping the production team operate without delays or shortages.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage bakery stock including flour, sugar, yeast, butter, dairy items, packaging materials, and finished products
- Receive deliveries from suppliers and check quantities and product quality
- Record all incoming and outgoing stock accurately
- Ensure ingredients are stored properly according to food safety and hygiene standards
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with purchasing and production teams when materials need replenishment
- Conduct routine stock checks to avoid shortages, overstocking, or wastage
- Keep the storage and warehouse area clean, organised, and safe
- Follow proper inventory procedures and maintain accurate stock records
- Support smooth warehouse and bakery operations on a daily basis
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience as a Store Keeper, Warehouse Assistant, Stock Controller, or Inventory Assistant
- Experience in bakery, food production, FMCG, supermarket, or warehouse operations is preferred
- Basic knowledge of inventory management and food storage practices
- Good organisational and record-keeping skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work with accuracy
- Basic computer knowledge will be an advantage
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy production environment
- Positive attitude and good teamwork skills
