Full-Time Storekeeper Position Available | Hospitality and Food Service Industry
Job Description
We are currently looking for a Storekeeper to join our restaurant team. As a Storekeeper, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily management of food and beverage inventory, ensuring stock accuracy, maintaining proper storage conditions, and supporting smooth restaurant operations. We are seeking someone who is detail-oriented, trustworthy, and capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and organize incoming deliveries
- Maintain accurate records of all stock movements
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of items
- Manage food, beverage, and restaurant supply inventory
- Conduct regular stock checks and inventory audits
- Ensure products are stored correctly and safely
- Monitor expiry dates and implement proper stock rotation practices
- Coordinate with management regarding purchasing and inventory requirements
- Prepare inventory reports and assist with stock reconciliation
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure storage area
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Storekeeper in a restaurant, hotel, catering company, or hospitality-related business
- Strong understanding of inventory management and stock control procedures
- Good organizational and record-keeping skills
- Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Excel and inventory systems
- Ability to work independently and handle responsibilities efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Honest, reliable, and hardworking personality
- Good communication and teamwork skills
