Your Daily Responsibilities:
- Handle cash, card, and digital payments accurately
- Operate restaurant POS systems such as Micros POS or RIST POS
- Process dine-in, takeaway, and delivery orders efficiently
- Welcome customers warmly and assist them with billing and inquiries
- Provide excellent customer service at all times
- Maintain accurate sales records and balance the cash drawer daily
- Coordinate with kitchen and service staff for smooth order processing
- Keep the cashier area clean, organized, and professional
- Inform customers about menu items, offers, and daily specials
- Assist in increasing sales by recommending popular food and beverage items
- Report any payment or cash discrepancies to management immediately
- Support the restaurant team during busy hours and peak shifts
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Cashier or in a similar customer service role
- Restaurant or hospitality industry experience in Bahrain is preferred
- Good knowledge of POS systems and billing procedures
- Strong communication skills in English
- Basic Arabic communication skills will be an added advantage
- Friendly personality with good customer handling skills
- Honest, reliable, and detail-oriented
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible with shifts, weekends, and public holidays
