Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Draftsman – Architectural / Structural to join our civil construction team.
If you have strong hands-on experience in architectural and structural drafting, are confident working on active construction sites, and are available to join immediately, this could be a great opportunity for you.
We’re looking for someone who takes pride in accurate drawings, understands site realities, and enjoys working closely with engineers and project teams to bring designs to life.
About the Role
As our Architectural / Structural Draftsman, you’ll play an important role in supporting ongoing projects by preparing clear, accurate, and detailed drawings. You’ll work side by side with engineers, architects, and site staff to develop shop drawings, construction details, and as-built plans that match both design intent and actual site conditions.
This position is perfect for someone who is detail-focused, technically strong, and comfortable working in fast-paced construction environments.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Prepare architectural and structural shop drawings using AutoCAD
• Create detailed plans, sections, elevations, and layouts for construction
• Assist with reinforcement detailing as guided by engineers
• Prepare as-built drawings after project completion
• Coordinate with engineers and site teams to update drawings based on site changes
• Revise drawings according to consultant comments and approvals
• Maintain organized drawing records and documentation
• Support site teams by clarifying drawings and technical details
• Help with quantity take-offs when needed
• Ensure drawings are submitted on time to avoid project delays
• Follow company drafting standards and quality procedures
What We’re Looking For
• Minimum 5 years of experience in civil construction (Qatar experience preferred)
• Proven experience as an Architectural / Structural Draftsman
• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD
• Good understanding of architectural layouts and structural detailing
• Experience preparing shop drawings and as-built documentation
• Familiarity with Qatar construction practices and site coordination
• Must have a valid Qatar driving license
• Must have NOC and be ready to join immediately
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Strong attention to detail
• Positive attitude with good communication skills
