Job Description
We’re currently on the lookout for an experienced Senior Accountant who can confidently handle day-to-day financial operations while also supporting bigger-picture financial decisions. If you’ve spent the last 5–7 years building solid experience in accounting, reporting, and financial management, this could be a great next step in your career.
In this role, you won’t just be working with numbers—you’ll play a key part in keeping the company’s finances accurate, compliant, and running smoothly. You’ll also work closely with the team to improve processes and provide insights that help drive smart business decisions.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Managing accounts payable and receivable to ensure everything runs on time and without issues
- Preparing and reviewing financial statements, reports, and budgets
- Handling the general ledger, journal entries, and reconciliations with accuracy
- Leading monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing activities
- Making sure all financial activities follow accounting standards and regulations (IFRS/GAAP)
- Keeping an eye on cash flow and overall financial performance
- Supporting audits and working closely with external auditors when needed
- Guiding and supporting junior team members in their daily tasks
- Improving existing accounting processes and internal controls
- Maintaining organized and accurate financial records and documentation
- Coordinating with banks, vendors, and internal teams when required
What We’re Looking For:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Around 5–7 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance
- Strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles
- Hands-on experience with accounting software or ERP systems (like SAP, Oracle, or Tally)
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
- Experience with audits, budgeting, and financial analysis
- Someone who can lead, think analytically, and solve problems effectively
- High attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well with a team
Nice to Have:
- Professional certifications like CPA or ACCA
- Experience with group accounting or multiple entities
- Familiarity with financial dashboards or tools like Power BI
