About the Role:
As an Electrician, you will be responsible for handling various electrical works related to street lighting systems, infrastructure maintenance, and outdoor electrical installations. The role requires practical knowledge of electrical systems, fault finding, wiring, cable works, and maintenance activities.
You will work closely with engineers, supervisors, and project teams to ensure all electrical work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project standards.
Main Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain street lights, electrical wiring, and related equipment
- Carry out electrical troubleshooting and repair works
- Handle cable pulling, cable termination, and panel connections
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems
- Inspect electrical components and identify faults or technical issues
- Read electrical drawings and follow technical instructions accurately
- Ensure all electrical work is completed following safety regulations
- Support ongoing infrastructure and utility projects
- Maintain tools and equipment properly and keep the work area safe and organized
- Respond quickly to electrical breakdowns and maintenance requests
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an Electrician in Qatar or GCC countries
- Experience in street light or infrastructure projects is highly preferred
- Good understanding of electrical systems and maintenance procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with electrical safety practices and standards
- ITI, Diploma, or technical qualification in Electrical is an advantage
- Qatar driving license will be considered an added benefit
- Candidates who can join immediately are preferred
