Job Description
We are currently looking for a skilled and dedicated Electrical Technician to join our growing technical service team. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who have strong experience in electrical maintenance, industrial equipment servicing, troubleshooting, installation, and technical support.
We are searching for someone who is hardworking, technically strong, and passionate about solving electrical and mechanical issues. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working on industrial machinery, electrical systems, motors, control panels, and related equipment while maintaining high safety and service standards.
As part of our team, you will play an important role in ensuring that equipment and machinery are installed correctly, maintained properly, and operating efficiently at client locations.
Key Responsibilities
Installation & Commissioning
- Install and commission industrial machinery, electrical systems, and equipment at customer sites
- Carry out testing, calibration, and safety inspections before equipment handover
- Ensure all electrical connections and systems are working properly
- Support clients by explaining equipment operation and safe usage procedures
- Verify that all installations meet technical and safety standards
Maintenance & Troubleshooting
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot faults related to wiring, motors, control panels, switches, and industrial systems
- Repair or replace damaged electrical components and restore equipment performance
- Conduct regular inspections to identify issues before they lead to breakdowns
- Ensure equipment operates efficiently and safely at all times
Technical Service & Customer Support
- Respond to service calls, maintenance requests, and emergency breakdowns
- Provide professional technical support and after-sales service to customers
- Coordinate with supervisors and service teams to complete assigned tasks efficiently
- Guide customers on proper equipment handling and basic troubleshooting
- Build positive relationships with clients through quality service and professional communication
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate service reports, maintenance records, and inspection logs
- Record spare parts usage and service history
- Report recurring technical issues to supervisors for further action
- Ensure all technical documentation is completed correctly and submitted on time
Safety & Compliance
- Follow company safety procedures and electrical safety regulations during all work activities
- Conduct safety checks before starting maintenance or repair work
- Identify unsafe conditions and report hazards immediately
- Use tools, testing equipment, and personal protective equipment responsibly
- Ensure all work is completed according to safety and quality standards
Team Support & Technical Development
- Assist senior engineers and technicians during complex repairs and installations
- Participate in technical training programs to improve skills and stay updated with new technologies
- Support workshop activities and technical operations whenever required
- Work closely with team members to ensure smooth and efficient project completion
Requirements
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification
- Hands-on experience in electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, or industrial equipment servicing
- Good knowledge of electrical systems, motors, wiring, control panels, and mechanical equipment
- Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills
- Ability to read electrical drawings and technical manuals
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Strong commitment to safety, quality service, and professional work standards
