Full-Time Hiring Façade Engineer in Riyadh | Curtain Wall and Cladding Experience Required
Job Description
We’re currently looking for a skilled Façade Engineer to join our team in Riyadh. If you have solid experience in façade systems and enjoy working on large-scale construction projects, this could be a great next step in your career.
In this role, you’ll be involved in everything from design and detailing to coordination and site support. You’ll work closely with different teams to ensure façade systems are delivered efficiently, safely, and in line with project standards.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Prepare clear and accurate façade drawings, including shop drawings, fabrication details, and as-built drawings
- Design façade systems such as curtain walls, aluminium cladding, skylights, louvers, and glazing systems
- Make sure all designs follow project requirements, Saudi Building Code (SBC), and international standards
- Carry out engineering calculations like wind load, thermal movement, and structural performance
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, MEP teams, contractors, and consultants
- Review material submissions, samples, and mock-ups before approval
- Support procurement by helping select the right materials, including aluminum profiles, glass types, sealants, and fittings
- Visit sites to check installation quality and ensure everything is done as per approved drawings
- Help resolve any technical challenges during fabrication and installation
- Prepare method statements, reports, and technical documentation
- Assist with cost estimation and suggest value engineering ideas when needed
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering
- 3–8 years of experience in façade engineering, especially aluminium and curtain wall systems
- Good knowledge of systems like Schuck, Reynders, Technik, or similar
- Strong understanding of glass types and façade performance
- Hands-on experience with AutoCAD (mandatory); Revit or BIM knowledge is a plus
- Familiarity with SolidWorks or similar tools is an advantage
- Understanding of façade testing standards like air infiltration, water tightness, and structural performance
- Knowledge of KSA regulations and international standards is preferred
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well with different teams
