Full-Time Hiring Procurement Engineer in UAE | Immediate Joining Opportunity
Job Description
We’re on the lookout for an experienced and dependable Senior Procurement Engineer to join our team. If you’ve been working in procurement within the construction or engineering field and are ready for your next step, this could be a great fit.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing the full procurement process—from sourcing and supplier coordination to negotiations and delivery—making sure everything runs smoothly, stays within budget, and meets project timelines.
What We’re Looking For
- A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field
- At least 7 years of hands-on experience in procurement, ideally within construction or engineering projects
- Solid understanding of sourcing, vendor management, and contract negotiation
- Experience handling multiple projects at the same time without compromising quality or deadlines
- Familiarity with procurement systems or ERP tools like SAP or Oracle is a plus
- Strong communication skills and confidence when dealing with suppliers and internal teams
- Awareness of UAE or GCC market practices is an advantage
- Arabic candidates will be given preference
- Someone who can join immediately or within a short notice period
What You’ll Be Doing
- Taking care of the entire procurement cycle, from identifying requirements to finalizing contracts
- Sourcing reliable suppliers and comparing offers to get the best value without compromising quality
- Reviewing technical and commercial proposals before making decisions
- Negotiating pricing, delivery terms, and agreements with vendors
- Working closely with project and engineering teams to ensure materials arrive on time
- Keeping track of supplier performance and resolving any issues when needed
- Staying updated on market trends to find cost-saving opportunities
- Preparing reports and maintaining proper records for tracking and audits
