Job Description
We’re currently looking for an experienced and safety-minded Lifting Supervisor to join our construction project team. This role is perfect for someone who understands crane operations, takes safety seriously, and knows how to lead lifting crews on active job sites.

About the Role
As our Lifting Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for overseeing all lifting operations on site. Your main focus will be ensuring cranes and lifting equipment are safe to use, properly maintained, and operated according to approved lifting plans.
You’ll work closely with engineers, operators, riggers, and safety teams to make sure every lift is completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule. This role requires strong leadership, quick decision-making, and a practical approach to problem-solving.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Inspecting tower cranes, crawler cranes, and lifting equipment before operations begin
• Making sure wire ropes, hooks, slings, and accessories are in good working condition
• Coordinating equipment maintenance and arranging repairs when needed
• Preparing lifting plans, method statements, and emergency procedures
• Supervising lifting crews and ensuring everyone follows safety rules and site procedures
• Taking full control of lifting activities on site
• Monitoring operations to prevent risks and unsafe practices
• Working closely with site engineers and safety officers
• Helping the team complete lifting tasks smoothly and safely
• Promoting a strong safety culture across all lifting activities
What We’re Looking For
• Proven experience working as a Lifting Supervisor or in a similar role
• Strong understanding of crane operations and lifting equipment
• Experience creating lifting plans and emergency response procedures
• Good knowledge of construction site safety requirements
• Confident leadership and clear communication skills
• Ability to spot risks early and take action quickly
• Professional attitude with strong attention to detail
• Comfortable working in busy construction environments
