Full-Time Oil and Gas Welding Engineer Jobs | Aramco Experience Required
Job Description
We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Welding Engineer to join our team. If you have a strong background in oil & gas projects and a deep understanding of international welding standards, this role offers a great opportunity to work on high-impact projects in a professional environment.
In this position, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that all welding activities meet quality, safety, and client requirements. You’ll work closely with project teams, QA/QC professionals, and site personnel to maintain high standards across every stage of the project.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Preparing and reviewing WPS, PQR, and welder qualification documents
- Making sure all welding work complies with international standards like ASME, AWS, and ISO
- Supporting project teams with the right welding techniques, materials, and procedures
- Monitoring site activities to ensure quality and consistency in welding operations
- Identifying and resolving any welding-related issues quickly and effectively
- Assisting with inspections, audits, and QA/QC documentation
- Ensuring all work is carried out in line with health, safety, and environmental standards
- Helping train and guide welders to maintain high performance
What We’re Looking For:
- Valid International Welding Engineer (IWE) Certification (IIW Approved)
- Official IIW Professional Qualification Certificate
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in welding engineering
- Experience in Oil & Gas projects (Aramco exposure is a strong advantage)
- Solid knowledge of welding processes such as SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, FCAW, and SAW
- Familiarity with NDT methods like RT, UT, PT, and MT
- Good understanding of materials, welding metallurgy, and fabrication practices
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage work efficiently, even under tight deadlines
