About the Role
As a Planning Engineer, you’ll be responsible for creating and maintaining project schedules, monitoring daily progress, and supporting overall project control activities. You’ll work closely with engineering, fabrication, and site teams to make sure everything stays aligned with project timelines.
Your work will involve planning steel structure fabrication and erection, reviewing drawings, and supporting warehouse and PEB building projects. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys combining technical planning with real site involvement.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Preparing detailed project schedules using Primavera P6
- Tracking daily and weekly progress and updating timelines
- Creating look-ahead plans and basic progress reports
- Supporting project control activities and delay recovery planning
- Coordinating with engineering, fabrication, and site teams
- Monitoring steel structure fabrication and erection works
- Reviewing drawings and helping ensure work is executed as planned
- Identifying potential delays and helping find solutions
- Maintaining planning documents and supporting coordination meetings
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering
- Around 2–3 years of experience in construction planning
- Good working knowledge of Primavera P6
- Understanding of steel structures, warehouses, and PEB buildings
- Experience with steel fabrication and erection processes
- Ability to read construction drawings and support site execution
- Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with project teams
