We’re currently looking for a responsible and committed Safety Officer to join our project team in Qatar.
This role is perfect for someone who genuinely cares about workplace safety, enjoys being present on site, and knows how to guide teams toward safer work practices. If you’re NEBOSH certified and comfortable handling day-to-day safety responsibilities on active sites, we’d love to hear from you.
About the Role
As a Safety Officer, you’ll be at the heart of maintaining a safe working environment. Your day will involve regular site visits, safety checks, and working closely with supervisors and workers to ensure safety procedures are followed at all times.
You’ll play an important role in preventing incidents, supporting safe operations, and building a positive safety culture across the site.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Keeping a close eye on site activities to ensure safe work practices
- Carrying out regular safety inspections and risk assessments
- Making sure safety rules and procedures are followed
- Preparing safety reports, toolbox talks, and incident records
- Guiding workers on safe methods of work
- Identifying hazards and following up on corrective actions
- Supporting emergency preparedness and safety drills
- Maintaining clear and up-to-date safety records
- Working with site teams to improve overall safety performance
What We’re Looking For
- NEBOSH certification is mandatory
- Previous experience as a Safety Officer is preferred
- Good understanding of site safety requirements and HSE standards
- Strong communication and people-handling skills
- Ability to work independently on site
- Responsible, proactive, and detail-oriented approach
