Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and technically skilled Sales Engineer to join our growing team in Saudi Arabia. If you have experience in structural steel fabrication, industrial sales, project coordination, and client relationship management, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing client relationships, preparing technical and commercial proposals, and supporting fabrication projects from inquiry stage to final execution. We are looking for someone who understands both the technical and commercial side of the fabrication business and can confidently work with contractors, consultants, and industrial clients across KSA.
This position is ideal for candidates who are passionate about engineering sales, business development, and industrial project solutions.
About the Role
As a Sales Engineer, you will play an important role in expanding our presence in the fabrication and industrial sector. You will work closely with engineering, production, and project teams to provide clients with the right fabrication solutions while ensuring smooth communication throughout the project lifecycle.
The successful candidate should be capable of handling client requirements, understanding fabrication drawings, preparing quotations, and building long-term business relationships within the industrial and construction sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new business opportunities within the fabrication and industrial sectors across Saudi Arabia.
- Promote fabrication services including structural steel fabrication, metal works, custom-built components, and industrial engineering solutions.
- Meet with clients, contractors, consultants, and project teams to understand project requirements and provide suitable solutions.
- Prepare quotations, technical proposals, cost estimates, and tender documents.
- Review client drawings, specifications, and BOQs together with the fabrication and engineering departments.
- Conduct technical presentations, client meetings, and project discussions.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and commercial terms with clients.
- Coordinate with engineering, production, procurement, and project teams to ensure projects are completed on time.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Follow up on ongoing projects and provide excellent after-sales support.
- Stay updated with market trends, competitor activities, and new project opportunities in KSA.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets set by the company.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or any related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in sales within the fabrication industry.
- Strong understanding of structural steel fabrication, metal fabrication, welding processes, and fabrication drawings.
- Experience in industrial sales, technical sales, engineering sales, or project-based sales.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts professionally.
- Strong problem-solving and customer relationship management skills.
- Willingness to travel anywhere within Saudi Arabia for business meetings and site visits.
- Valid driving license is required.
Preferred Candidate
- Candidates with previous experience in fabrication workshops, steel structure companies, or industrial manufacturing environments will be highly preferred.
- Experience working with contractors, consultants, oil & gas companies, or industrial clients in KSA will be considered an advantage.
- Knowledge of tendering procedures and industrial project execution is a plus.
