Job Description
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. This role is ideal for someone who has a strong background in accounting operations, financial reporting, and financial management, and who can confidently handle day-to-day accounting responsibilities while supporting the company’s overall financial stability.
As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring that all accounting activities are carried out in line with company policies and accepted accounting standards.
We are looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with financial data, while collaborating closely with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
About the Role
In this role, you will support the finance department by managing important accounting functions and helping ensure that financial transactions are recorded correctly and reported on time.
Your responsibilities will include reviewing financial records, preparing financial statements, monitoring company expenses, and supporting the monthly and yearly financial closing processes. You will also work closely with the finance team to maintain proper documentation and ensure financial information is accurate and well organized.
The position requires someone who is comfortable analyzing financial data and supporting management with clear and reliable financial information.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting activities and financial transactions
- Maintain accurate general ledger and accounting records
- Prepare and review financial reports and financial statements
- Monitor and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Perform regular bank reconciliations
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities
- Track company expenses and ensure proper financial documentation
- Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting
- Prepare documents and records needed for internal and external audits
- Analyze financial data and prepare reports for management review
- Work with internal teams to ensure financial accuracy and compliance
- Help improve accounting processes and maintain organized financial records
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Previous experience working as a Senior Accountant or in a similar accounting role
- Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Experience with general ledger management and reconciliations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with ERP or accounting systems
- Familiarity with financial audits and compliance procedures
- Understanding of financial analysis and cost management
- Experience working in a corporate finance or accounting environment
