Job Description
We are currently seeking a talented and dedicated Structural Engineering to join our PMC team for large-scale construction and infrastructure projects. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about engineering excellence, enjoys solving complex technical challenges, and has the confidence to lead structural works from design review through construction completion.
As part of our engineering team, you will work closely with consultants, contractors, project managers, and client representatives to ensure every stage of the project meets the highest standards of safety, quality, and performance. If you have strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and extensive experience in major building or infrastructure developments, we would love to hear from you.
What You Will Be Doing
In this role, you will take responsibility for reviewing and overseeing structural engineering activities across multiple project phases. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include reviewing designs and calculations, monitoring site activities, ensuring compliance with approved standards, and providing technical guidance whenever required.
You will also play a key role in maintaining construction quality, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and helping projects move forward efficiently and safely.
Main Responsibilities
- Review and approve structural drawings, calculations, technical documents, and material submissions.
- Ensure all structural works comply with project specifications and international engineering standards.
- Carry out regular site inspections to monitor construction quality and progress.
- Identify technical issues on-site and provide practical engineering solutions.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, architects, and client representatives throughout the project lifecycle.
- Verify compliance with standards such as ACI, AISC, Eurocode, SBC, and related regulations.
- Prepare technical reports, project assessments, inspection reports, and engineering recommendations.
- Participate in value engineering and risk management discussions to improve project efficiency.
- Support junior engineers by providing technical guidance and mentorship.
- Assist project teams in maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and project delivery.
What We Are Looking For
We are searching for a professional who brings both technical knowledge and practical project experience. The ideal candidate should be confident working on large and complex projects while maintaining attention to detail and strong communication with stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
- Master’s Degree will be considered an advantage.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in structural engineering and construction projects.
- Strong background in large-scale commercial, residential, industrial, or infrastructure developments.
- Previous experience in PMC, engineering consultancy, or construction supervision roles is highly preferred.
- Excellent knowledge of structural engineering software such as:
- ETABS
- SAP2000
- STAAD Pro
- SAFE
- AutoCAD
- Strong understanding of structural analysis, reinforced concrete design, and steel structures.
- Familiarity with international engineering codes and construction standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively within multicultural and fast-paced project environments.
- Professional Engineering License (PE or equivalent) will be an added advantage.
