Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Safety Officer to become part of our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about workplace safety, technical operations, and maintaining high safety standards across industrial and engineering environments.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting installation and maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with HSE regulations, conducting safety inspections, and helping create a safe and efficient working environment for both employees and clients.

Job Responsibilities
Installation & Commissioning
- Assist with the installation and commissioning of machinery, electrical systems, and industrial equipment at client sites
- Carry out functional testing, calibration, and safety checks before equipment handover
- Ensure all installations are completed according to safety standards and operational requirements
- Support clients by providing guidance on safe and proper equipment operation
- Work closely with engineers and technical teams during project execution
Maintenance & Troubleshooting
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to keep equipment operating efficiently
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and electronic faults
- Repair or replace faulty components and ensure equipment is restored to proper working condition
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential technical or safety issues
- Help reduce downtime by responding quickly to maintenance requirements
Workplace Safety & HSE Compliance
- Follow and enforce company HSE policies and workplace safety procedures
- Conduct safety inspections, hazard identification, and risk assessments at work sites
- Ensure employees and contractors follow safe work practices and use proper PPE
- Report unsafe conditions, incidents, and near misses immediately
- Assist in maintaining compliance with local safety regulations and company standards
- Promote a strong safety culture throughout all work activities
Service Coordination & Client Support
- Respond to client service requests and emergency breakdown situations
- Coordinate maintenance schedules and service activities with supervisors and technical teams
- Provide clients with technical support, troubleshooting guidance, and safety instructions
- Maintain professional communication with customers and internal departments
- Ensure service tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and on time
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate service reports, inspection records, maintenance logs, and safety documents
- Record spare parts usage and technical observations
- Prepare reports related to inspections, maintenance activities, and workplace safety
- Support internal audits and compliance documentation when required
Team Support & Continuous Learning
- Assist senior engineers and technical staff during major repairs and installations
- Participate in technical and safety training programs
- Stay updated with the latest HSE standards, safety regulations, and industry practices
- Support workshop and after-sales operations whenever required
Requirements
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification
- Experience in industrial safety, maintenance, electrical systems, or technical service operations
- Good understanding of workplace safety procedures and HSE regulations
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
- Good communication and reporting abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and customer service
