Job Description
We are currently hiring a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our growing team. If you have a strong background in finance, accounting operations, and financial reporting, this could be the perfect opportunity to take your career forward.
We are looking for someone who can confidently manage day-to-day accounting activities, maintain accurate financial records, and support the finance department with professionalism and accuracy. Candidates with GCC experience or experience in construction, trading, engineering, or contracting companies will be an added advantage.
Job Responsibilities
As an Accountant, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing daily accounting transactions and bookkeeping activities
- Preparing invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and financial reports
- Handling accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Performing bank reconciliations and monitoring financial records
- Assisting with payroll support and expense tracking
- Maintaining organized financial documents and filing systems
- Coordinating with suppliers, clients, and internal departments regarding financial matters
- Supporting monthly and yearly closing activities
- Assisting with audit preparation and financial reporting
- Ensuring all accounting records are maintained accurately and in compliance with company policies
Candidate Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates should have:
- Previous experience working as an Accountant or Accounts Executive
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and handle deadlines efficiently
- GCC experience will be an advantage
- Immediate availability is preferred
