About the Role
As a Welding Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for overseeing daily welding and fabrication activities on-site. Your main focus will be to ensure work is carried out safely, efficiently, and according to project requirements.
You’ll work closely with engineers, QA/QC teams, safety officers, and site personnel to keep activities running smoothly and ensure project milestones are achieved on time.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supervising daily welding, fabrication, and installation activities
- Leading and supporting welders, fabricators, and site crews
- Planning manpower and organizing daily work schedules
- Making sure all work follows approved drawings and project specifications
- Monitoring welding quality and overall work progress
- Coordinating with engineers, QA/QC inspectors, and project teams
- Conducting regular site inspections and addressing issues quickly
- Ensuring all team members follow health and safety procedures
- Conducting toolbox talks and promoting safe working practices
- Preparing daily reports and maintaining project records
- Checking that materials, tools, and equipment are available when needed
- Ensuring work areas remain safe, clean, and organized
- Supporting the team in meeting project targets and deadlines
